Follow the Coe Water Quality Lab while we test the quality of the watersheds in Cedar Rapids. We complete three rounds of sampling every week. At these sites we test for levels of dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, temperature, turbidity, chlorophyll, and phycocyanin. In the lab we analyze our samples using ion chromatography (for nitrate, slfate, and chloride), and flow injection analysis (for phosphate). We also measure total suspended solids, e.coli and total coliform.
