Due to the recent storms, the CWQL found a lot of debris and brush around and within the streams. The rainfall had also caused run off to enter the streams causing a spike in turbidity levels and bacteria levels (data will be revealed later today). Normally after a storm, the water will turn murky or turbid, because dirt and mud is flowing into the streams which increases the percentage of e.coli found in the water.
